Creative Weblogging will soon been introducing a terrific new advertising program called TierOneAds. Advertisers can set a maximum CPM per campaign and daily budget for each campaign they choose to run. The actual price is determined in an auction based system. For example, if you are an advertiser and set up a campaign with $3 per CPM, you will compete with all the other advertisers in that category. The winning bidder will pay just a penny more than the next highest bidder. Advertisers are provided with many tools to help them maximize their advertising dollars, including category targeting, geo targeting, use delivery capping, and a free conversion analyzer tool.

TierOne is a great tool for bloggers as well. It allows them to set the CPM rate for their blogs. This can be anywhere from a few cents to tens of dollars. It's completely within their control. If the network can't monetize their impressions for whatever reason, the blogger can chose to run his own ad code.
