More Untraditional Places to Blog for Inspiration

I've talked a little recently about looking for inspiration to use in my blogging, and looking for it in untraditional places. I don't know why, but home is an untraditional place for most bloggers - at least as a setting to blog from. They all want to blog in an office, or blog at an event location.
I've managed to convince my bosses that I'm simply more productive at home. I can sit on the deck and watch my kids play in our above ground swimming pool, drink coffee I made myself, and blog to the sound of birds chirping in our rural backyard. Relaxation. Nothing fights writer's block better thasn simple relaxation.
I know that people think my best blog posts on education will come to me while I sit in an large conference hall at a seminar on technology in the classroom or on new approaches to teaching autistic children. And attending those sorts of conferences do give me food for thought. But the actual writing is best done in less traditional locations...
