Internet Advertising on the Rise

Despite the recession, Internet advertising is still going strong. According to the Interactive Advertising Bureau. advertisers spent nearly $6 billion on Internet advertising in the first quarter of 2008. Internet advertising is increasing in popularity because advertising agencies are able to know how many people clicked on their ads, and being able to produce numbers for their clients is very important in this age of every shrinking advertising budgets. In contrast, it's next to impossible for them to do the same with radio, TV and print ads.

This is bad news for newspapers, magazines and radio stations but great news for bloggers. The ad space on our blogs has become and will continue to be a valuable commodity!
